Projects
The Friends are continually undertaking projects to improve and protect the Wood. Here are some of the things we carry out when we meet and some useful information.
Our Working Mornings
Three times a month the Friends meet at the Spring Park Wood Bridle Road entrance and undertake various tasks such as:
- Construct temporary hazel hurdle fences to protect project sites being worked on.
- Coppicing
- Planting
- Tree thinning
- Pathway maintenance
- Litter Picking
- Site species surveys
