The practical team have different skills, and between us have many years of varying woodland
knowledge. These skills are broken down into three main topics of Coppicing, Charcoal Making and Hedge
laying, with other various projects also covered throughout the year. All of which when combined, leads to a far healthier woodland environment where nature can breath and grow once again, and our next generations can enjoy them for years to come.
My personal aim is to share, and pass on these various practical woodland crafts, with anyone who is interested in the subjects, but they must be eighteen (18) years or older, so they are conforming to my Insurance cover.
These projects happen at different locations, mainly in Croydon some at Spring Park Wood in Shirley, or at Community fun day shows where we are invited to attend and display, through which we also promote the excellent work of other teams in the Borough.
